We are pleased that you have visited the website of Wilmington Baptist Association.  We are a "family" of 69 churches, working together to share the love of Christ in our area, the state, the nation, and the world.  As you visit different sites on this website, you will learn about our work and our witness.  Missions is at the heart of all that we do.  Our goal is "to assist the churches of this association in carrying out the commission of our Lord."

This is a significant year for the Baptist Associations in America as we celebrate 300 years of ministry.  The first Baptist Association in America was formed in 1707 in Philadelphia, PA.  Our association was formed in 1901 and held its first annual meeting in Burgaw, NC.  We are grateful for this long tradition of associational ministry in our nations and for the 106 years we have been a part of that tradition.
